BOB 2 moment of clarity

This week we were figuring out the farmer ted problem and seeing what the maximum area farmer ted could have with his fencing. I kept trying to split up the 1500 ft by the values 1000 and 500. It ended up as a nice 500,000 ft^2 so I thought it was okay. After awhile of thinking, it hit me that of you split the 1500 in half and plug the 750 into the formula it would give you the maximum  area he could have rather than splitting it up by 1000 and 500. Although this wasn't as "nice" of a number, it made a lot more sense.
